Ayurveda ~ The science
of Living
Time
honored recipes of natural beauty were passed down in texts
written in Sanskrit, over 5,000 years ago -- ayurveda (pronounced
'ah-yoor-vedha') philosophy -- a system of rejuvenation, beauty
and health care. In India, it is believed that exactly blended
formulations of ayurvedic herbs and essential oils can assist
the skin in cell rejuvenation, restoring balance and helping
to slow the aging process. ~
Ayurveda philosophy holds that beautiful, youthful and radiant
skin stems from good health. This holistic approach to health
and beauty is embraced by men and women alike and is revolutionizing
skin care in the same way it is strongly influencing American
health care. Ayurveda is a science that takes care of you physically,
emotionally and spiritually. ~ |

Balance ~ The path
to health and beauty
Ayurveda
states that everybody and everything is composed of five fundamental
elements - five vibrational modes - called space, air, fire,
water, and earth. Each of us is born with all five present.
However everyone has them in a unique proportion that determines
our individual features, including our skin type, and our inherent
physical tendencies. The secret of absolute beauty is to live
in harmony with nature's design of us as expressed by our personal
mix of elements - that is, our constitution type (skin &
body type).
Using BINDI products will help you balance your individual
elements and reflect both your inner and outer beauty and healthy
living. ~ |

The Doshas
The
elements(fire, water, earth, air, ether) give rise to three
principle biological forces, called doshas. These doshas
are Vata (space & air), Pitta (Fire & Water), and
Kapha (Water & Earth).
Bindi products are formulated for the three skin types (vata,
pitta, kapha) plus products for the Basic skin type, which
is a combination of two or more skin types.
